“Mr. Padre” Tony Gwynn was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007 on the first ballot. The 15-time All-Star won eight NL batting titles and has his No. 19 retired by the club. He had a .338 career batting average and never hit below .309 in any full season. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “50” with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “100% POLYESTER”. Across the chest reads “PADRES” in navy blue on white on orange tackle twill. On the back is the player number “19” in orange on white tackle twill and across the back is the player name “GWYNN” in white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a Padres team logo patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
