Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle won 7 World Series Championships, was a three-time MVP, Triple Crown winner and a Gold Glove recipient in 1962. The iconic Mantle wore this Rawlings manufactured “DCT” model glove during his time with the Yankees. The leather glove measures 12.5 inches and features a 2 Piece Cross Laced web style. The glove shows substantial game use with considerable wear in the “Double CA-THUD Pocket”, the face of the web and throughout the body. Appearing on the wrist strap in vintage marker is “Mantle 7”. “Mick 7 Mantle” is on the back of the thumb sleeve also in vintage marker. A silk Rawlings manufacturer’s label is on the back of the glove and a lightly branded “Rawlings” on the heel. Mantle transitioned to first base during his final two seasons, 1967 and 1968. The DCT model was Mantle’s choice while playing the position and is seen in many images. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA.
