During his 22-year playing career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Stan "The Man" was a 24-time All-Star, three-time World Series Champion, three time MVP and a seven-time NL batting champion. He retired after the 1963 season with a career batting average of .331 and solidified his place as one of the game's greatest hitters. Musial was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969, his first year of eligibility. On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag with an attached box tag reading the size “44”. Adjacent below reads the player name “Musial” and year “56” embroidered in red chain stitching. Across the chest reads “Cardinals” in script style writing and on the back is the player number “6”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue felt. On the left sleeve is a Cardinals team logo patch embroidered in red, navy blue and yellow. Musial signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA, a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
