The biggest goal in New York Islanders history will always belong to Bobby Nystrom, who scored in overtime of Game 6 in the 1980 final to begin the Isles’ run of four straight Stanley Cups. Inside the collar is a tag with washing instructions and a washed-out flag tag. The loop style fight strap is intact with a skate lace. Across the front is the Islanders team logo crest. The player number “23” is on both sleeves and on the back. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “NYSTROM”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. There is a team repair on the right sleeve as well as stick marks and board burns throughout and interior pilling. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
