Floyd Patterson will always hold status as the first Heavyweight to regain the title, in the second match of his fabled trilogy with Ingemar Johansson. Few Patterson fight artifacts have found their way into the collecting hobby, and this family-sourced relic dates to his early fight career. The blue and yellow satin robe features a yellow felt "Floyd Patterson" across the back and a "Davega Golden Gloves" manufacturer's label at the inside collar. The robe remains in wonderful condition. Typical wear is evident, and the original belt is present. The robe was sourced from Patterson's widow, with her letter of provenance. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Janet Patterson, a LOA from Craig Hamilton and a HA LOA.
