This lot of precious ticket stubs from the 1955 World Series is like manna from heaven for old-time Brooklyn Dodger devotees to relive the joy of finally beating the Yankees in that Fall Classic. The stubs are from Games 1 and 2 at Yankee Stadium (6-5 and 4-2 Yankee wins) and Games 4 and 5 at Ebbets Field (8-5 and 5-3 Dodger wins). The closeness of the Series went down to the final game, when Johnny Podres' 2-0 whitewash at the Stadium, aided by Sandy Amoros' memorable running grab of a Yogi Berra liner to the leftfield corner, finally ended years of suffering in Brooklyn. The stubs are in VG-EX condition.
