Billy Williams was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987. Presented here is his 1981 Coaches Worn full home uniform. Inside the rear collar of the jersey is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “26 81 2 42”. On the front left tail is a box tag reading “81” embroidered in blue. The left chest features a Cubs team logo embroidered in red, white and blue and on the left sleeve is a Cubs team logo patch. Across the back is the coach number “26” in blue tackle twill. Also included are a pair of matching Wilson pants size “32” with a strip tag reading “26 81 2 32 24”. Some staining is present on the front of the jersey and pants. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches worn and shows wear.
