Lot Description  

Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955, Gabby Hartnett had an outstanding career marked by a Most Valuable Player award and six consecutive All-Star appearances. In fact, Joe McCarthy called Hartnett "The Perfect Catcher." Hartnett signed this black & white 8 x 10 in blue marker as "Gabby" Hartnett. The signature rates a near 10.
