Hall of Fame players turned managers, Bill Dickey and Mel Ott didn't smile much in 1946 as Dickey's Yankees and Ott's Giants were stiffs that season. But before Dickey was canned midway through the season and Ott suffered a last-place finish, they showed their teeth in this classic Chesterfield Cigarettes ad featuring both men in suits and colorful ties, Dickey holding a cigarette and Ott holding a pack over the slogan "Always Buy Chesterfield." The 20" x 22" framed piece is in very good to excellent condition.
