After a three-year drought, the New York Yankees found the magic touch again in 1947 with a new manager (Bucky Harris), a new catcher (Yogi Berra), a new ace (Allie Reynolds), and a very important veteran, Joe DiMaggio. The Yanks won the AL flag by 12 games and met the Brooklyn Dodgers in the World Series. The Bombers showed their poise by winning Game Five behind Spec Shea and Game Seven behind Joe Page. This beautiful golden brown ball is signed by 21 members of that team including Joe D (on the sweet spot with Spud Chandler), Reynolds, Shea, Phil Rizzuto, Joe Page, Vic Raschi, Bobby Brown, George McQuinn, etc. Signatures rate from 5 to 9, with DiMaggio's a 7.
