Late Hall of Famer Willie McCovey was known for hitting mammoth home runs. In 1979, McCovey belted his 520th career home run off Lynn McGlothen of the Chicago Cubs the afternoon of August 25, 1979. Rawlings manufactured ONL Feeney baseball single-signed by Willie McCovey. McCovey signed on the side panel with the added inscription "To Mike Best Wishes" and in our opinion the signature rates a 6. Handwritten on another side panel is "Willie's 520th career homer vs Lynn McGlothen and Chicago Cubs Aug. 25, 1979". Handwritten in thick black sharpie on the off side panel is “#520”.
