Joe Namath was named Super Bowl MVP after guaranteeing victory and beating the Baltimore Colts 16-7. This game is considered the biggest upset in sports history with the Colts being 18 point favorites going into the game at Miami's Orange Bowl. This Balfour ring measures to a size “11” and weighs 36 grams. The face of the ring reads "NEW YORK JETS” “WORLD CHAMPIONS with a face studded with diamonds set in a green football-shaped stone. The left shank recounts the winning scores from both the Super Bowl and the AFL Championship games, while the right shank reads "NORMAN" and frames a Jets helmet in profile. The twin mantras of "Execution" and "Poise" underscore the left and right shank respectively. Stamped on the interior band is “H Norman” in script style writing as well as “BALFOUR 10K”. Accompanied by a Norman family LOA, the equipment manager for the New York Jets.
