Hubert "Geese" Ausbie is one of the most popular and recognizable of the original Harlem Globetrotters. For 24 years Ausbie served as the "Clown Prince" of the team thrilling audiences with his talent and personality. He received a Globetrotters Legends ring in 1994, a recognition given to only a few elite former players. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with an attached heavily faded flag tag. Adjacent is a blue strip tag reading “G Ausbie - 42 +1” embroidered in white. Across the front of the jersey is "HARLEM" in red on white tackle twill. Below that is "GLOBETROTTERS" and above is “ORIGINAL” both in gold tackle twill. On the front and the back are six stars in red on white tackle twill. On the back is the player number "35" in white on red tackle twill. Above the number on the back is a Globetrotters logo. Down the back of each shoulder are sizable runs in the durene fabric. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
