In 2010, Dennis Johnson was posthumously elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame. The three-time NBA Champion was the 1979 Finals MVP and a five-time NBA All-Star. His No. 3 is retired by the Boston Celtics. Inside the rear neck is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “44”. Adjacent above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics” tag. Across the front is “CELTICS” painted in white on yellow block letters. On each shoulder is a shamrock logo in the same paint configuration. Player name “JOHNSON” appears on back in green tackle twill block letters on a white embroidered nameplate. At the right chest is the official NBA embroidered logo. Johnson signed the back of the jacket in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. The jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
