The 1996-97 season was the middle championship of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls second three-peat in the 1990s. It was one of 10 seasons where Jordan led the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.6 points per game to go along with 5.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Every time Jordan was in an NBA Finals he captured the Finals MVP award, and during the 1996-97 NBA Finals Jordan averaged 32.3 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game to capture his fifth NBA championship. Nike Jordan “Jumpman” manufactured size “13” white sneakers with black trim. On a black strip tag on the back of the shoe reads “JORDAN QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER” and beneath is the player number “23” in red. Vertically down the tongues is a Jordan “Jumpman” logo and “T W O 3” embroidered in black. Jordan signed the outside ankle of both sneakers in black marker and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8. Below the signatures is a PSA/DNA sticker serial numbers “W02475” and “W02476”. These sneakers are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and show game use. Accompanied by a Scottie Pippen Foundation LOA signed by Carl Pippen, a JSA LOA and two PSA/DNA LOAs.
