These five sets of 1989 Perez-Steele Autographed Celebration sets are complete with eight signed examples including Ted Williams and Brooks Robinson. The Perez-Steele Celebration set was issued in 1989 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Baseball Hall of Fame and the 10th anniversary of the Perez-Steele Galleries. The issue was limited to 10,000 sets and featured cards for forty-four Hall of Famers who were still living at the time the set was conceived. The art is painted in the style of the W. S. Kimball tobacco set of 1888. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
