During a 20-year career, Tom Seaver compiled 311 wins, 3,640 strikeouts, 61 shutouts and a 2.86 earned run average. In 1992, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the highest percentage ever recorded (98.84%), and has the only plaque at Cooperstown wearing a NY Mets hat. On the inner sweatband is the “KM PRO” manufacturer’s tag with adjacent “KM PRO 7-3/8” stamp. Player number “41” appears both on the rear sweatband and under the bill in black marker. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
