On the inner sweatband is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with adjacent size “7-1/4” size flag tag. Under the sweatband is the Wilson date code stamped “FXC” for March, 1953. Player number “9” appears under the bill in black marker as well as on the “Wilson” tag in blue marker. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate-heavy use with sweat staining.
