Luke Appling was elected to seven All-Star Games and hit .300 for nine straight seasons. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964, the same year as this jersey. On the left front tail is the “McAuliffe” manufacturer’s tag. Directly below are the year “64” and size “44” tags. On the left chest is the team “A’s” logo. The coaches number “44” appears on both the front and back. All numbers and letters are done in green on yellow tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches worn and in our opinion, shows wear. All original.
