We were told by our consignor that this baseball originated from the collection of Pete Sheehy. Jimmy Spence of JSA informed us that this is a very rare Maris signed baseball as it dates from 1984-90 and Roger Maris passed away in 1985. Maris signed very few of these Haiti balls. OAL Brown (Haiti) baseball signed by the M&M boys, Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Mantle has penned the sweet spot in black ink rating a 6-7 while Maris has signed the south panel in blue ink rating an 8-9. The ball shows heavy toning throughout, VG-EX overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and backed by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
