The 1972 Albuquerque Dukes won 92 games and won the Pacific Coast League Championship by defeating the Eugene Emeralds in a three game sweep. Of the 30 man roster managed by Tom Lasorda, an incredible 17 members became Major Leaguers including Charlie Hough, Steve Yeager, Ron Cey, Davey Lopes and Tom Paciorek. This ring comes from the personal collection of Rick Rhoden. At the top center of this size 10-3/4 ring is a large blue stone. Around this stone is “1972 Pacific Coast League Champions” in relief. On the left shank is “R. RHODEN” on a raised banner above a player swinging a bat. On the right shank is “ALBUQUERQUE” on a raised banner above “Dodgers appearing diagonally. Inside the ring is stamped “BALFOUR 10K” with the total weight being 23 grams. The ring is in EX-NM condition and is accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Rick Rhoden along with original Balfour box.
