On the front of the contract is, in part “The American League Baseball Club of New York and Joseph W. Sewell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama…during the year 1932…will pay the player an aggregate salary of $8,000”. The contract is signed by Hall of Famer Joe Sewell in black ink rating a 9. The contract is in EX+ overall condition and has been folded in thirds. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA.
