Spencer Haywood was a scoring machine. He was named ABA Rookie of the Year for the Denver Rockets in his first year of professional ball. He later scored nearly 15,000 points in the NBA. On the front tail is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" manufacturer’s size 44 tag with wash instructions. The “Gerry Cosby” distributor’s tag above appears to have fallen off from excellent game-use but glue residue remains. Across the front is "NEW YORK" in orange on blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "42" in orange on blue tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "HAYWOOD" in blue tackle twill. The jersey shows very good game-use and besides the missing tag appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
