Lot Description  

This champagne bottle was uncorked and emptied during the post-game celebration of David Wells’ perfect game on May 17, 1998 at Yankee Stadium. On the front is the manufacturers label with “CHAMPAGNE BRUT PERRIER-JOUET 1989.” Wells has signed the bottle directly above the label done in silver marker with inscription “P.G. 5-17-98” rating an 8. The bottle is in EX overall condition and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
